Fox and Hounds Apartment

Good standard of fittings and 3 good size bedrooms ( 2 double , 1 single ) was clean with tea coffee/ biscuits and soap liquid etc and crockery available. pub directly below was busy for wholesome pub food at reasonable prices. Not high end restaurant but wide range of good solid meals, and plenty of it, we’re available. Popular with the locals as a good sign. Staff were welcoming

Nothing really. Apartment was accessed from outside by metal stairway so may be an issue for some with mobility issues. On arrival it was a bit noisy as pub restaurant was busy but not an issue for us and it quietened down quite early when people finished their meals.

Truly a great place to stay, very welcoming and warming, food was off the charts, only positive criticism would be that you can here everything from the pub downstairs, but wot can you say if you decide to stay above a pub... inside the apartment it was lovely my kids buzzed off it but the latch door was far to master mind for my 5 year old lol so had us up early, kitchen and cooking materials was abit all over as there's 2 facilities for preparing food. Unfortunately our bed mattress was uncomfortable just wasn't our own king-size duvet might help. Or in need of an update upgrade. But really was a great night place location and food. Thanks for a great stay

Space and cleanliness

There was a damp odour as we walked into the apartment.

The rooms were comfortable and kids like the shower (variable power) and big bathroom. The staff were excellent and being above the pub was very handy and also quiet

Fab apartment, loads of space, the kids loved the tiny hallway outside the bedrooms!

wonderful family apartment. Great pub downstairs. Incredible silence at night. Peaceful nights sleep.

The shower needs better drainage as the floor to the bathroom gets very wet and you need to spend time moping up! The biggest bedroom is hard to heat so radiator needs looking at as the rest of apartment is very warm.
