The Snug, Ardfert Village

This little place is cute and cosy .Has everything you need in a clean and compact space . The owner callled to welcome us .she was very helpful and a lovely lady

2 beds a movable TV that one can watch TV in the bedroom and the kitchenette . Location was excellent close to a bars and restaurants too.

Horrible smell of smoke from the pillows One pillow per bed We had to spray perfume to try mask the smell One of the bed covers were stained on top Door to bathroom was hard to close There was a draft from the door into the bedroom especially if you are sleeping on the left hand side of the room No curtains on the bathroom window and so because it was so hard to close the door of the bathroom , The light from outside was lighting up the bedroom People staying in the loft upstairs were very noisy Going up and down the stairs at night especially when coming in late talking moving around Using their toilet and shower Chatting all hours of the night It was a nice little room with table and chairs for two microwave fridge with milk sugar water and some chocolate rolls Paper towels Bed wasn’t too uncomfortable I got a good sleep Shower going from very hot to cold There was shower gel soap toilet paper Hand towel One Towel each for two days we stayed Couple of Irish stations on the television One or two English news channels Wi-Fi I’d advise anyone staying longer than two days to bring their own towels and pillows Covers at least

Located in a small village, 10minute drive from the beach. Ideal location if you want to explore the coastal area. Restaurant close by. Kitchen at the apartment has the basics but no hob for cooking. Tea and coffee provided. Easy to find even if arriving in the dark. Fine to stay for one night, could feel cramped if staying for longer.

On arrival it smelt a little musty and damp inside. Unfortunately we were unlucky and weren't told there were roadworks going on just outside the apartment (the apartment is ground floor and directly on the road) so we had a fun wake up at 6:30 with 4 men and a digger at our door. Like I said we were just unlucky. The hot water is hit and miss, going from boiling hot to cold seeming to be no in-between. No washing up liquid provided.

The communication with the stuff beforehand was very good with clear instructions. The location was nice because there is a beach nearby.

Unfortunately our stay was a bit disappointing. It was not very clean which is why we felt uncomfortable staying here. There where stains and hair on the sheets. Even with the heater on high we could not get the room warm during the night.
