The location for the music conference we were going to at the Hyde / Mondrian was unbeatable. There was also a taxi stand close by that made it easy to go to other parts of the island. The hotel itself was very beautiful, modern, and the rooms were spacious. The beds were not that comfortable, but it was manageable. It was nice to have a balcony facing the mountains, too.

The main thing I did not like was how it was not clear when booking that there was A/C BUT it’s central and the hotel has control of turning it to hot or cool depending on the outside temperature. We book places specifically if they have A/C available, so it was quite disappointing to learn at 11pm in the evening that A/C was not available, only heat. Now, I will say that we slept there for 3 nights and did not struggle at all with feeling hot. We actually kept quite cool, but it was because the outside temperature was quite cool. The other thing was there’s a local bar across the pool that is super loud until 3-4am. I’m not usually one to complain about outside noise, especially in Ibiza, but it was quite excessive until quite late.
