Panoramic Sea View

The location was excellent with a stunning view over the little harbour, the islands and the ocean. Really good service from Nikos, the landlord who helped us with transportation and everything we needed.

Great location. Everything worked! Was allowed to stay late accommodating a later flight. Plenty of hot water.

Several cupboards inaccessible or blocked. Cutlery and crockery were odd bits. Insufficient of both. Too many notes with restrictions. Ladder charges for use of the washing machine.

Avec une voiture, il faut trouver une place dans la rue. Ca a été mais il n'y a pas énormément de place. Nous avions le petit appartement. Il y a juste de la place pour le lit et la micro cuisine. L'annonce mélange toutes les photos et finalement quand on réserve, on ne sait plus trop pour quel logement nous prenons la location.

Clear instructions before arrival

Shower, bed, poor cleanliness, poor electric wiring and sockets in Room 3, the host's low budget option. It appeared to us it had not been used for long time. My wife was shocked. I sourced alternative accommodation after our first night through Booking.com - not difficult, good options were available

The view is good

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing accommodation we have ever been to. It was partly our fault, because we trusted more the review score when we booked (8.8 and a 4-star rating by booking.com) than our intuition and what the pictures showed. This score and rating is in our view unjustified and very misleading. We booked the room expecting it to be simple, but the scoring made us think that maybe it was better in person. We were wrong. The only furniture in the room is what it looks like recycled furniture from a small kitchen. It is surprising to have the bed cover stored right next to a kitchen sink, and the fact that the cover itself looks like straight from 1998 did not help either. The pictures of the room are taken with a wide angle camera, making it look much bigger than what it is, with barely any space to get into bed from the side, or to open your suitcase. The pictures don't show that there is nowhere to hang the shower head on (there is a hook, but the shower head does not have the matching ring to hang it on that hook, probably because the old one broke and was replaced). There is an old mop hanged on the wall of the bathroom and that there is a frame to hold an industrial paper roll on top of the towel rack. The electrical installation is basically power strips connected to each other and fixed with tape. There are no towels for the beach, even though it is just 100 meters away, and there are even notes hanged on the wall asking to don't take the bathroom towels to the beach. Everything is just the bare minimum. We paid 136€ for 2 nights. I reckon at least 75€ of those were for the view. But there is no way that the room itself would cost more than 30€ per night. We had in Creta other accommodation for the same price that felt super luxurious. If you go for this room, keep in mind that the only thing it has going for it is the view, up to you to judge how much you are willing to pay for it.

Nur 5min zu Fuß zum Strand! Lediglich 15 Gehminuten zur Altstadt! Alles sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet! Sehr großer Balkon mit einem traumhaften Blick zum Meer, Hafen und Strand! Einfacher Ablauf beim Check-In und Check-Out! Sehr netter Vermieter! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein Set mehr Hand-und Badetücher wären toll gewesen.
