The Courtyard Cirencester

The window blind in the bedroom had a slat missing so if anyone looked they would see right into the room

The location of the property is brilliant and very central. It was clean, and there was a good amount of cutlery, crockery etc. The courtyard garden is very nice. I would recommend staying there.

There were some steps outside and inside the house which could be difficult for those with mobility problems. I don't remember this being included in the details. Also, the bed is quite big for the size of the bedroom and very close to both walls. There was also one lamp not working.

The location was great - easy walk to town with shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the courtyard - peaceful and pleasant

The only issue was that one of the slats in the bedroom blind was completely broken off so there was a fair bit of light at night but otherwise it was a very comfortable stay

Excellent accommodation for 2 of us. In the centre of town and a couple of minutes walk to the Abbey car park (just don't park under the trees 😀)

Excellent location within a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town. Nicely decorated with adequate space. Everything that you would ned in the kitchen. Staff did attend efficiently to the issues raised.

Cold! Really cold in February. The sitting room was adequately heated and the bathroom was OK if you turned on the fan heater for a few minutes before use. The bedroom was too hot overnight and then flipped to being too cold disrupting sleep. The hall radiator was not working and the entrance area set too cold. The kitchen was not heated at all. The staff were very responsive and did provide an electric heater for the kitchen which immediately had a very positive effect on the overall experience. Probably all fine in the summer but someone needs to spend some time setting timers and thermostats to get everything working in the winter. Some damp repairs also needed in the bedroom.

Was hard to find as the gate said no public access. Check in (4pm) and out (10am) felt a little too late and too early. We flew in from usa and waiting to drop our bags at 4pm felt a bit too long considering the change over was done at 10am.

It was close to town centre and tucked away off the main street. There was everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home and a short walk to a few grocery stores. There were many walks and parks to enjoy in Cirencester and so much history. Owner resolved an issue immediately and all was good for my month stay. I attended remembrance day ceremonies and turning on the lights weekend which I was looking forward to.

I could occasionally hear upstairs neighbours moving around but certainly not a showstopper. While there is plenty to do on foot within Cirencesster itself, it's a challenging place to base yourself to see the surrounding towns and area if you don't have a vehicle.
