We met the very friendly and helpful host and her husband, as we drove up to the apartment, which is situated on a hillside overlooking the ocean. As we were settling in they brought us a homecooked meal including Pasteles de Masa. We had a large, 2 bedroom, nicely furnished, decorated, apartment with ocean view and patio. We do not spend much time at the beach these days and prefer to walk and explore. We originally planned to stay three nights but it was such a lovely place, including easy access to El Yanque and other places of interest, we decided to extend our stay for another three days. The best I can say is that when we return to Puerto Rica we plan to stay here again.

Parking was a little challenging at first because I have a mild disability that made it difficult to walk up a short steep incline before reaching the ramp that leads up to the apartment. But we eventually figured how to park the car in such a way that made it easier for me. This in no way would discourage me from coming here again. However, if one has a more serious disability it would be a good idea to discuss the situation with the host before booking.

I stayed here with my friends and we really had a good time. The location is very well centered with a lot of local restaurants nearby. The Wyndham Rio Mar Resort is across the street where we spent some time at the Casino, Restaurants and the beach. Also, we visited the amazing El Yunque Rain Forest which is very close too. One of the things I loved the most was that the property was really quiet and peaceful you can put your music loud and there’s no problem, it has its own free parking and the property is gated so your car is secure. We just stayed a few days so there was no time to do everything we wanted but, we are definitely staying again. The apartment was really spacious, comfortable and is fully equipped; I felt at home.

Alvy provided washing powder, dishes soap, salt and sugar. It makes everything simpler for cooking for children. An efficient, ready to live in, clean and comfortable appartement.

The view was decent. The kitchen had enough pots/pans and dishes.

The place hadn't been cleaned. We had to do some tidying up, but there were cleaning supplies there. There was hair, dirt and some other substance in the shower. In addition, there was a ring around the toilet and dirt in the bidet. The beds had some random red stains on the bedskirt and pillows. Took the linens off the bed to wash and noticed holes and massive stains on the mattress pad. The kitchen had cashews and dead bugs on the floor. There was so much dust, my entire family had uncontrollable sneezing. My allergies were so bad that I was sure a pet had been on the premises. We ended up booking another location for our last 2 days. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The parking is on a steep incline and to get to the doorstep, you have to be extra careful of the walk up and down. One of the people in my party did fall, so be extra careful when it rains. I do not recommend this place for the elderly and physically impaired.
