The Hide D on Devereux

Property is very secure and close to a lot of stores.

The wifi was very slow, couldn’t watch a whole lot of tv.

On our arrival we liked the venue and the place and the lady showed us everything.She mentioned that they will buy the electricity for our metre box but she never did.

We ran out of electricity and the whole apartment was dark.My elderly mother in law struggled to go to the bathroom that night,in the morning I called the number we had and the guy said he will send someone. After a while I had to call him again cause no one came to us,he said he will come back to me.Around 07H30 I had to buy electricity myself and I told the guy but he said he was not told about the electricity.I asked him that they must give me my money back that I used to buy electricity,he said he will send the lady that was helping us on our arrival. Unfortunately the lady never came and the guy never did a follow up,we had to leave before 09H30 for our doctor's appointment. We had a bad experience in that place and the owner do not care about his guests at all.

Very spacious lounge and kitchen area. Nice and private braai area outside the room.

The only thing positive at this accommodation is that the staff were friendly and did not even mind when we told them that we could not stay at their accommodation as the condition of it was unacceptable.

There was nothing to like, the photos on the Booking.com site were totally deceiving and not like the actual place at all.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the privacy. The place was clean. Location is central and a walk away from Checkers. Amanda is a lovely host. We are definitely booking again.
