A lovely traditional and spacious apartment. It was a short distance from the village, shops, restaurants and beach. Nice aerial views from the balcony.

Wasn’t high enough up the hill. (Joking)! 😅

Gorgeous apartment in a great location just a short walk from Santa Cruz town. The family who own the apartment live upstairs in a separate property and couldn't do enough for us! They drove us back up the hill one evening after dinner and to the airport on our last day. We would totally recommend staying here and the restaurants in Santa Cruz are fantastic!

The hill up to the apartment is very steep so beware if you don't have transport, we hired motorbikes from Vivemadeira and parked them on the drive, this was a good option for exploring the mountains.

The owners were really nice and helpful. Our flight was delayed and we had to pick up rental car then, but they waited for us, helped with parking and welcomed us. Apartment is well equipped, bathroom is big, bed was comfortable, also the couch in the living room was ok for our few nights stay. There is also washing machine, and we could hang it up outside then. Calm area, so we slept well in the night. Location is great - few minutes by car from the airport.

Furniture is not freshly new and you have to dry washed/wet clothes outside, cause inside it takes much longer, but for us for 7 nights it was ok - the important things (clean, equipped, friendly owner) were ok. Location is in the steep hill, so it's better to have a car. Also, google could not find it correctly, but Czech application mapy.cz found it without any issue.

Wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. We spent a few days there for remote work. Wifi was fast enough for 2 pax to work. Kitchen had everything we needed and overall the apartment was exactly as described.

Only the huge metal gate makes quite some noise if its windy outside, better bring some ear plugs for peaceful nights.

Plenty of provision, cooking condiments, blankets, laundry maiden to dry clothes. Lady nipped by to say hello and make sure everything was alright which was nice of her. Ideal location nearby local town and airport, which was great for our return trip.

Only improvement I can think of is to provid heaters, as spacious property can get a little cold. Also, extraction fan for steam from shower but opening windows helps with this

The accommodation was generous and very well equipped with everything you need to cook and comfort. Host very friendly.

Shower water was just warm enough, windy and iron gate made annoying clang.

Very cozy, simple and nice apartments. Kind hosts. Well equipped with lots of things. Good view from the terrace. There is a parking space. The center is close, but be aware that the street is very steep and walking uphill is not easy.
