We felt at home. The place was clean and cozy. The host were always willing to help and make us feel comfortable. I totally recommended. I will be back soon.

very close to the centre of Valkenburg

traffic noise, net curtains down the full side of the apartment leaves no privacy and if the light next door doesn’t keep you awake all night the sun rise / traffic noise will, but the worst thing is the heating, or lack of it, it’s controlled by the owner upstairs who seemed to take a sadistic pleasure in not turning it on despite -5 temp outside (not much better inside) and also despite constantly phoning her and texting her to please put it on, she completely ignored the calls/texts although we could hear her upstairs. we have 2 young kids and my daughter was suffering a really bad chest infection not helped with the cold apartment, and the owner, Gina, what can I say, I’ve never met somebody quite like her but I’ll leave it at that and if your unlucky enough to stay here and meet her you’ll know what I mean.

Host was super welcoming and friendly and set the tone for our stay really nicely. She was very thoughtful and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfy. Room was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Good value for money and great location in the center of town.

Not a huge deal but we expected one large double bed and there were 2 single mattresses instead
