The Hannexe

Checking in was easy. Being able to park off road in our own designated area was an added bonus. On arrival there was milk,bread,butter and other basic items including cleaning items. There was also complimentary wine and and beer which all in all we thought was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean with comfortable furniture. The Hannexe was in an ideal location for going to The Royal Cornwall Show and getting out and about and visiting numerous locations around the coast and inland within a thirty mile radius. Sarah our host was a lovely friendly lady,and nothing was too much trouble,not that we had any problems. We will definitely go back to the Hannexe when we're back down to that area of Cornwall in the future.

The apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. A bonus (unexpected) was the provision of bread, butter, jam, cereals... as well as tea and coffee. AND - some wine and beer!

The driveway was a challenge, especially with a car parked outside just by the gate and a truck on the drive itself. There was some noise from upstairs, especially on Sunday morning. It was a shame that we didn't get to meet our hosts - nobody's fault, I think we were all concerned not to disturb one another!

Everything you would need for a stay, very comfortable and with the little extras such as the complimentary drinks etc we couldn't ask for more. Oh, and the dogs were very friendly!

Sarah, Kevin and their daughters were very welcoming and helpful. There were so many nice touches including a lot of goodies on arrival including bread, milk, butter, porridge, marmalade and even wine and beer. We were cold and wet on arrival but soon warmed up as there was plenty of heat and hot water.

Parking was a little challenging as the property is on a main road and it was awkward to get on and off the driveway. However, there is parking outside the property so it is not a major problem and the hosts were very considerate in leaving a parking space. There are not many eating places within walking distance for an evening meal. However, the Pearl and Trawl was very good and we were able to walk there.

This place was stunning, from start to finish.

We liked everything about our stay. The Hannexe is perfectly located to visit several beaches. Alos Sarah is amazing and super kind. We asked for a late checkout and she helped us a lot.
