Stenaki - Apartments in Aegina Town

The hosts were friendly, the courtyard was nicely arranged, and the accommodation looked exactly like the photos. The apartment was relatively modern, with a larger than average bathroom for Greece, recently renovated and clean. The entire place was tidy, compact, and equipped with everything necessary. The location is convenient, just behind the church and close to the bus station.

Unfortunately, there were significant negative aspects. The most serious issue was the intense dampness, with a toxic, unbearable smell that hits you as soon as you enter. It comes from the walls and lingers in the kitchen cabinets, causing breathing difficulties, especially during the night. This could be a major problem for people with chronic conditions such as allergies or asthma and is the main reason for our low rating. Also, there can be considerable evening noise from the neighboring gyros restaurant, as they wash and stack dishes late at night. Since you need to keep the windows open to breathe more easily, the noise becomes even more noticeable.

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο της Αίγινας με αποτέλεσμα οι βόλτες να είναι εύκολες χωρις να χρειάζεται να χρησιμοποιήσεις μεταφορικό μέσο. Ο Βαγγέλης μας υποδέχτηκε και μας βοήθησε να μεταφέρουμε τα πράγματα και ήταν πολύ ευχάριστος και ευγενικός. Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ άνετο με όλα τα απαραίτητα για να μείνεις ακόμη και για πολλές μέρες. Έχει πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα την οποία χρησιμοποιήσαμε καθώς είχαμε μαζί μας και μωρό. Η καθαριότητα των χώρων ήταν παραπάνω από άριστη. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα για ζευγάρια, παρέες και οικογένειες. Όταν επισκεφτούμε ξανά το νησί πάλι εκεί θα μείνουμε!

Liniștea, dotările camerei și curățenia.

Baia extrem de mică. dusul cred ca are 60 pe 60cm. O persoană de 1.80, 1.90 sau mai plinuțe nu încape. Eu nu mă încadrez în cele menționate mai sus, dar m-am cam chinuit. Nu este loc de parcare la locație. Se poate parca pe bulevardul central sau în spatele stadionului. Lenjeria și prosoapele se schimbă contractat sau gratuit la 6 zile. Totuși, măcar la 3 zile. Noi am stat 3 nopți. În rest, a fost plăcut!

The position of the apartment was brilliant, just off the harbour and a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. It was clean and very well equipped.

The kithenette area was very cluttered so it was difficult to prepare even a snack but it did have a kettle and coffee pod machine..

the location is perfect, hidden away from the noise but in the centre. Room was very clean and cool - there was no need for AC. Wonderful host.

Excellent value for money. Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Super comfy beds! Highly recommended!

Everything! In a perfect location, and the hosts are so gracious and accommodating. They were more than happy for us to leave our bags in the room after check out and then get changed after the beach before we left.
