Stenaki - Apartments in Aegina Town

Excellent location near the center of the town and Taverns with delicious portions of gyros. Clean, Comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

We loved our five-night stay in the Stenaki Apartments on our first visit to Aegina. The location just back from the harbour behind the Isodia Theotokou church is very central but also quiet. The small complex of just four apartment/studios is set in a garden around a shared patio and is welcoming and tranquil. We had the ground floor one-bedroom apartment which consisted of a sitting/dining room, a spacious bedroom, a galley kitchen and a small bathroom which included a washing machine. We loved the bare stone wall features in the apartment and the small deep windows which helped to keep the place cooler in the 30C+ temperatures outside, although the essential air conditioning worked very well also. Everywhere was decorated to a high, well-maintained standard and was spotlessly clean. The apartment was well equipped and everything worked very well. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was tons of storage space. The bathroom was snug but the shower was spacious and worked well. We enjoyed having breakfast each morning on the furnished terrace and the whole place felt more like a real home than a holiday let. There was a local swimming spot just two minutes' walk away and our early morning and late afternoon swims there were pure bliss! Vagelis was an excellent host - providing us with very detailed directions on arrival (the apartment is less than a 10 minute walk from the ferries), meeting us on arrival to give us our keys and show us around, and checking in with us to see if we needed anything when he was around the property. We fell in love with Aegina and plan to return at some point. When we do our first choice of accommodation will be Stenaki Apartments. Highly recommended!

The location was amazing. The place was clean, comfortable. Had everything I needed. And the hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic little complex of apartments. We had the upstairs apartment and were very happy with it. Our friends had the downstairs apartment. Our apartment had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, all cooking equipment, cutlery and utensils etc. The host met us there to hand over the keys and run through a few things as well as point out where the supermarkets and bus stops were etc. The bed was comfortable with clean linen and comfy pillows. Air conditioning worked well. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. We loved the little courtyard and sat there almost every evening playing cards, eating and chatting with our friends. There was a drying rack for towels etc as well. The location behind the church was perfect, easy walking distance to town and the beach and bus station. We stayed here for six nights. ... Highly recommend.

It was near the main roads of the island where we had the facilities next to us. Furthermore, our landlord was very nice and friendly and even gave us tips when we needed to buy a new bag
