Sables d'Or Luxury Apartments

Vicky the owner is lovely and accommodating. We met her a few times and had a lovely chat with her. The apartment we had initially booked had no hot water due to an issue at the time so she upgraded us to one of the larger luxury apartments facing the waterfront for no extra charge. Location is amazing right on Beau Valon beach. Gated property which provided some sense of safety. The apartment was also quite spacious.

The property manager wasn't super friendly and didn't want to initially provide a solution when she casually informed us we wouldn't have hot water to shower with during our stay. We had to press her to speak to the property owner and provide a solution. The "Luxury" larger apartment we were upgraded to is quite dated, booking one of the smaller ones is a way better option as they are a lot cheaper and a lot more modern and more recently upgraded from what it seemed at the time. No baggage storing facilities..

We loved absolutely everything! It's a perfect location - literally 10 steps away from the beach, and close to cafes/takeaways and a few supermarkets. The property is very well maintained, and has a beautiful garden and a small pool for those who want to relax and hide from the sun for a bit. The apartment was.super clean, modern and SO spacious! We were there with a very active toddler and had to stay home when it was raining and I simply can't imagine doing it in a typical 20sqm hotel room! The hostess and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Before we even thought of asking for something - they would offer/bring it to us. 10 out of 10. 100% recommended, particularly for those who travel with kids. We are hoping to be back done day :)

Amenities and location.

There was no exhaust fan in our bathroom or it wasn’t functioning at the time of our stay.

This is an exceptional place and opens right at the beach. There is parking at the facility as well as a nearby free parking. The facility is secured with gate remotes and keys and every visitor is provided with their own set of keys. It has all facilities and amenities that are listed here. The property provides beach beds and we saw surf boards and kayaks available there too. The property has two accommodation sections with higher priced one facing the beach and the lower priced one at the back. Irrespective of the price, the place is classy and is done tastefully and with that location, it is a full package. We met the owner Vicky a few times while we were there, she greeted us, showed us around and helped us get acquainted with the place too which was very kind. We then traveled around the island visiting different places and this turned out to be the best decision.

Rooms are very clean.

Aircondition blowing directly in head. Check in and check out restriktions are too short. Price is also a bit expenceve.

De ligging is fantastisch

Clean and modern. Has a nice balcony and is almost on the beach :)

Wifi connection in the evening much worse than during the day
