Veranda house

Alloggio datato ma abbastanza ben tenuto. Posizione centrale a 10 minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia. Posto auto davanti casa. Letto matrimoniale molto comodo. Cucina ben fornita e dotata di ogni comodità. Host gentile, reattivo, disponibile e professionale.

Mancano le zanzariere alle finestre delle due camere. I materassi dei due lettini della seconda camera sono terribili: le molle hanno reso impossibile il sonno perfino di due bambini di 25 e 35 kg. Bagno ampio ma peccato per la tenda alla doccia e per l'impossibilità di fissare il telefono della doccia. Rapporto qualità/prezzo (118 euro a notte) non buono..

The apartment is very spacious and has all the comforts and extras of a holiday home. The parking space is a big plus. The location is also very close to the center. The owner welcomed us very kindly, presented the apartment and the town, the beaches around. The restaurant he recommended was also perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I recommend it to everyone!

Location is just 10 min walking from main bus station ( we didn't rent a car- bus direct from the airport to Chania, takes around 30 min- price 2,5 euro/per person). Next to the apartment is small cafeteria/ shop where you can buy freshly brewed coffee and fresh bread too, to supermarket 5 min walking. City beach in 20 min walking distance. My children enjoyed a lot communal playground next to the apartment and it had a basketball court too. The Greeks are very friendly as we didn't take a ball, there was always someone who borrowed them a ball to play. House itself has two separate rooms, kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, two outdoor spaces with tables where you could have a meal/coffee. We loved the tours around Chania, doing around 10 km a day- even the 5 y.o didn't complain:) The host is a very nice guy, friendly and helpful.

The nights were a bit noisy, because the apartment is located next to a street. It didn't bother me at all, after these walks we had during the day - I was very tired but my husband has a very light sleep. This was only disadvantage I could think of ( in case you are having the same issue, I would recommend to take earplugs).

Christos was very nice and everything went smoothly. He left us some olive oil, rachia, fruits and local wine. It was very generous from him! The house is spacious, clean, quiet and very close to the bus station and city center. We loved the small outside terraces (both in front and in the back of the house). Very convenient that it has also a parking spot. 10/10 would recommend to everyone going to Chania.
