"Lovely house, great location. Really quiet. Wouldn't know you was so close to the high street"

Everything was clean and tidy.

Could do with a couple more cooking utensils like a spatula/fish slice and some wooden spoons. Maybe a parasol for the outside table

Everything. The location is excellent. Tucked away down an Alley off Main Street. Cottage is cosy and quiet. Clean, warm and with all home comforts. Our 3rd stay and will be back. Highly recommend.

Lots of breakfast drinks available and coffee biscuits too good to resist!

Could not fault the property and the location was perfect.Cockermouth is a lovely town which we have visited many times,so good to see it back up and running after the horrendous floods.Had a terrific meal at The Bitter End and then a night of entertainment at the local Social Club.

The cottage was in the perfect location for us. Not visited this part of the lakes before. Cockermouth was a lovely town. The cottage itself was simply furnished but the beds were really comfortable.

What a lovely cosy cottage and so well equipped with everything you might need. It’s in a great location just off the Main Street so great for shops, bars and restaurants. Nice comfortable double beds. We only stayed two nights but would have loved to stay longer as it’s a good base to explore the lakes or the coast.
