At first when we arrived we thought okay, nothing special for one night this will do. But as the evening went we realised more and more the beauty of this place and in the end we can say we fall in love with the place.

There was 2 beds and one sofa. One of the beds was not so comfy, the sofa was better.

Good location. Clean and simple.

Toilet area is very small, you cannot really close the door. In the corridor you have dummies (mannequins) that can scare you at first

The shower cabin is very small and was not cleaned, the hose twists and sometimes the water does not flow out of it at all. The shower head does not spray water well, it is inconvenient to wash. The door to the toilet does not close completely, all sounds are heard in the room. We received only half a roll of toilet paper for 2 nights, we had to buy more ourselves and the soap run out before we checked in. There is no mirror above the sink or next to the shower cabin at all, you have to shave in the kitchen with your own mirror. The window in the small room does not open and it is very hot there.

If you love the relaxing sounds of nature, then this spot is for you. The apartment is next to the Põltsamaa River, across from Roosisaar (Rose Island), a beautiful park which seems to be popular with young couples. The river has a fairly strong current here, so you'll hear the relaxing sound of water pushing past the rocks and reeds. Surprisingly, you don't hear many manmade sounds here, so it's a wonderful spot to unwind. Most of the times we went out, there were ducks in the river or flying overhead. The ruins of Põltsamaa castle are a short walk down the road. In case you're a fan of The Czar's Madman, Võisiku manor is about fifteen minutes by bus, but sadly it's shut down and roped off as of June 2024. The apartment is spacious and has all the necessities for a couple (perhaps with one child), including plenty of cooking utensils. The large bed is comfy, and there is a small room where a youngster can sleep. The decor is unusual, as you can see from the photos, but my daughter loved the Soviet-era radio.

The small bedroom is rather cramped. At 6'4", I couldn't walk without stooping. The layout of the apartment is rather odd, too, with the front door opening to the bathroom, and no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the apartment.
