Spekboom Cottage

The property has an entrance gate used by the guests only, we enjoyed the privacy of the place, the quiet neighborhood and would definitely visit again.

The yard could perhaps be fenced off at the back to show where the guests mustn't enter.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place is cosy and quiet

The area is very peaceful and quit but the bed was not comfortable enough. Overall the service was the best place is very neat

The bed it really needs to be changed it's too flat not very comfortable

Neat and clean, good location, spacious, host was friendly and very helpful in assisting with any concerns brought up, nice patio and garden view. Tea and coffee supplies provided including milk. Very comfortable stay, looks better than the pictures. Would stay again.

Wifi didn't really work most of the time. Shower pressure was very low. We couldn't use the heater as the electricity tripped each time we put the heater on. Extra blankets would've helped as it is winter but I'm sure the host would've probably provided if we had asked. The en-suite bathroom has swing barn doors which makes it uncomfortable to use the bathroom while someone else is in the room but that's just a personal opinion

Tranquility, peace and quiet

Location was good

The internet connection to the TV was not good. No connection on arrival. Failed again on Saturday morning. Got it running again. Failed again Sunday afternoon and got it running Monday evening. The stove and oven need to be replaced. Had to turn on from the circuit breaker and the dials did not work correctly. Also no idea the last time the oven was cleaned.
