Black Stair Room - En Suite

good little room with en-suite and tea/coffee facilities. nice quiet location. never met the hosts, but because everything went smoothly, that's a good thing. this was out 3rd stay and probably not our last.

wi-fi slow and not many tv channels. in the grand scheme of things not the end of the world.

We didn't realise there would be a fridge and a toaster. Could perhaps include this in property description.

Clean. Quiet.

Bedroom very very small. Pillows poor. TV not explained. Couldn’t use it. Spiral staircase wet and dangerous for eighty year old. Heater stored outside ,impossible for us to carry up stairs. Bath had no support handle ,which is not satisfactory for older people. Coat hangers only two adult one others were for children. No use for us.! Beds only had a duvet which means either too hot or too cold . There were two hot water bottles. No entry until 5pm which is too late for travellers.

Great communication. Cute and charming space. Quiet, and safe secure feeling. Nicely appointed bathroom. Comfortable beds.

A few v minor issues - Food prep area is very very minimal - tricky to find space to even make up a sandwich. Bedding was just enough, but the option of a blanket would’ve been welcome. Bath is a welcome facility, but it seemed unlikely that sufficient hot water was available. Tap ran a good time but only warm water arrived. Shower was very good, though.
