the hosts were great

The apartment was in the hills and not recommended for children or people who don't want to walk. The worst thing is that the whole apartment did not have air conditioning. It is said on the site, but since we are 21st century, and it is summer on a turistic place with 40 degrees temperature, and since the air conditioning is one of of the main living conditions, no one could expect that or even check that.

About the accommodation: It’s a spacious apartment with everything we needed for either a short or long stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms — one with a double bed and the other with three single beds — a good bathroom, and a peaceful location that’s still easily accessible to the city. Even though it’s a bit far, a taxi from the uphill spot near the bus station to the apartment costs only €3.00. About the way we were treated: Out of all the trips I’ve taken, this was the best welcome I’ve ever received at an accommodation. My girlfriend and I felt like we were arriving at a family member’s home. We didn’t have internet to call a taxi, and our host picked us up and brought us back to the station — and didn’t accept any payment for it. Since it was a holiday and everything was closed, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to buy food, so they brought us a delicious meal. Not to mention the tips they gave us about the cities and the many great conversations we had. Of course, the city is beautiful, but honestly, we’re already looking forward to going back to Herceg Novi just to see these amazing hosts again, who treated us like family. I 100% recommend this accommodation and will definitely return someday.
