A modern, clean and comfortable apartment sensitively converted from an old building retaining wonderful original features. Well equipped and located.

Some people may not like that parking is about 5 minutes walk away but that proves a benefit as the area is largely traffic free and very peaceful. There is a convenient drop off point and forgetting the car for a few days to walk or use the very convenient bus to San Sebastián is a more convenient way to get around.

Beautiful simple decor. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen had EVERYTHING. Thoughtful extras provided by host. Excellent clear and quick communication - host readily available. Historic property beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard and cleverly combines old world character with modern comforts. Even public area of building spotlessly clean.

That we couldn't stay longer!

The property was very clean… and even though we only stayed one night we were well provided for. Would definitely recommend this accommodation either for couples or a family.

Being at the historical centre and how big the apartment was

How thoughtful the hosts were to leave us goodies and fruits for breakfast. They were very responsive, accommodating and helpful too.

The apartment was in a perfect location for us, in the centre of the old town and easy to get to local restaurants, the beach and shops. We also hired bicycles in Hendaye and used them all the time. Otherwise, public transport was accessible and we were able to explore the beautiful local area. The owner, Maider, was so welcoming, kind and helpful and has fitted out the apartment with everything we needed. So much to do in and around Hondarribia including wonderful food/wine, surfing, walking, cycling, nature parks, vineyards, music and the fun city vibes of Donostia only a short bus ride away. The best holiday!

Just having to leave!

The property was in a great location in the centre of the beautiful old town. It was spacious enough for 4 of us and had 2 bathrooms (very useful with 2 teenagers!). It was spotlessly clean and the owner had left some provisions for our arrival. She was extremely helpful whenever we had any questions and gave us lots of tips on good places to eat in the town (both the old town and the marina). There are lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and the old town has a lovely vibe. I would definitely recommend this property for a stay in Hondarribia.

Initially we thought parking might be an issue but the owner gave us directions to all the best (free) places to get parking and only a very short walk to the apartment. Don't let parking put you off, the old town is a beautiful place to stay.
