Nothing, the host created a unrealistic version of a rental, then rented it out. Not only does she not exist, but her sister and his husband and the entire family check you in to the property. If you want to have a fun check in experience, ask them what they do with the pictures they take of your passport. You will enjoy that as a response.

the host was awful, the house came with a book of rules, that had an inventory of everything in the apartment. Which was then listed with a price. And I mean everything was listed and priced. it wasnt a book of where to go or what to do,it was a damage list price. Check in was awful as a complete stranger wanted to take pictures of my passport on there personal phone. Because the receptionist was too lazy to walk and make a copy, shower didnt work, owner was non responsive. I actually checked out 5 days early because it was so bad. I left an audio speaker which i tried to get back, however the owner just ignored all my messaged i sent on the messenging platform on booking.com which was very frustrating. In the end I had to threaten to call the police at the condo building til they phoned the sister of the condo owner who would only come out if i payed her $100. None the less she turned up 2 hours late. The issue here is booking.com and the host. The host wants to rent her condo out on a hotel reservation website, however she doesnt want to do any customer service. She wants you to arrive, pick up a key and check yourself in. This works if you are part of a community like airbnb not booking.com. I am not going to post the pictures showing all the paperwork. Do yourself a favour book somewhere else. While the location is good, if anything goes wrong. This woman has no real customer service skills which is not a good thing in these situations.
