Riverhouse Extended Stay Apartment

We like the location of the property, its cleanliness, and the ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms. the rooms have window air conditioning units which helped us during this summertime

it's right on the street and hence it's a bit noisy for the master bedroom. It would have been nice if the facility had one or two laundry pods (for one or two loads) or if it had been communicated earlier so we could be prepared. The same applied to the oil in the kitchen.

Needs a good cleaning- walls, doors had dirty marks, register in downstairs bathroom dirty and some mold around the rubber on the washer. Top hinge broken on the deck door. Needs more towels. Pillows need replaced, flat and uncomfortable.

The location of the appartment was very good. There's a Fast Park in front of the building (15-20$ per night). The appartment was clean and had 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. The atmosphere is nice, with brick and wood decoration in an old building.

The street noise (whatever the floor) was rather loud, The windows would need to be more insulated. The flow of the shower on the 3rd floor (next to the big bedroom) was rather weak.

Lovely apartment for family or group in safe neighborhood

The best part was being close to downtown Manhattan by Metro and the sense of safety.

If you want use If you want to use the washing machine and dryer, you should carefully check their cleanliness before using them. When I stayed there, they were so dirty that it was difficult to use them.

Very nice and spacious apartment close to public transport. We were 5 people and there was sufficient room for all of us. There are several restaurants around as well as a little grocery store right across the street. Perfect location for a family visiting NY / NJ

Only thing to keep in mind is that the walls are ultrathin, i.e. you can hear everything that happens on the street, cars, motorbikes and the fire truck with full horn and sirens. That’s why all of us moved to the bedrooms at the backside of the house after the first night.

The host was very helpful at 2 o clock on the morning when we got there. There was a problem getting in, but they answered the phone and helped us. Very good location, spacious cosy apartment.
