Couldn't fault this place at all

Beautiful location, exceptional hosts! We very much enjoyed our time here exploring the mountains and both Elafonisi and Balos beaches. Highly recommend this wonderful location, made better by the hospitality of Father Nikolaos and Presbytera Nektaria.

Great location, good starting point for all the main beaches in the west side of the island, well equipped apartment, quiet. Also, more importantly, great great hosts.

Had to guard against the cats before entering the apartment. Joking, nothing to complaint about!

The house is located in a very quiet area, just a 5-minute car drive away from Kissamos and also a good starting point for the top-rated beaches on the island: Balos, Falasarna, Elafonissi, Kedrodasos. The apartment has all the amenities needed to make you feel at home for a longer stay, including fridge, cooker, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning, washing machine, TV, pillows with different levels of firmness. The apartment is located at semi-basement (but with normal windows for natural light), which was a great advantage in terms of cooling, as we didn't even have to turn on the air conditioning, despite temperatures hitting 37-42 degrees highs during our 8 days stay. Given the fact that we travelled to Crete by plane, it was very useful to find inside an umbrella and beach towels, as we visited some beaches without sunbeds or where all of them were already occupied by the time we arrived. Just before we arrived, Father Nikolaos finished arranging a very nice children's playground in the garden, photos attached below. In my opinion, if you travel with kids, they will absolutely love it and it will keep them busy in the evening, allowing you to relax. The main reasons why I recommend you to choose this accommodation are the hosts, who are probably the most hospitable people we have ever met. They welcomed us with an appetizers plate, fruits, vegetables, olive oil, wine, two types of raki, bakery products and a lot of things you would regularly find in your kitchen. They invited us to a barbecue evening in the garden, where they also brought many delicious homemade Cretan traditional dishes. Also, as my wife turned 28 during our stay at the house, they kindly surprised us with a birthday cake and a nice souvenir for us to remember this beautiful family. Thank you for your kindness and these wonderful memories, Father Nikolaos, Nektaria, Ilias and Chrysopigi! We hope we will meet again very soon!

The appartement was nice,, big and fully equipped. The hosts were the most friendly and helpful people ever. I had a hartwarming welcome! It was a fantastic experience. I really recommend this place to all of you.

The property is an excellent place to stay with all the amenities you would need. Both Father Nikolaos and Nektaria are the most gracious hosts. Their warmth and friendliness are second to none. We spent a month there and it wasn’t long enough.

If we could have given a rating above 10 we would have given it even more. Father Nicholas and his family welcomed us as if we were friends. The house is the best equipped we have ever found not only in Greece, but also in the rest of the world. Finally a guest house that understands the traveler's needs and satisfies them with care and love! thanks for existing!

We spent 4 wonderful days in this apartment. We arrived very late, because our plane was delayed. Nevetheless the host met us, showed us everything and gave us many gifts for eating (some traditional food, milk, fruits, vegetables, biscuites and others). The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It includes everything for long stay, for cooking, for good sleeping. Beds are comfortable. There is BBQ with gas. We cooked some meat using it. There are free bycicles, but we didn't use them. The house is in the queit place, but not far from beaches. We visited a lot of places for interest. It is a good start point to visit Balos beach, Hanya, Topolia gorge and many wonderful beaches. 5 minutes from the apartment there is a supermarket with Good prices. No problem with parking a car. WiFi is good. The host gave us a lot of information about interesting events. Thanks to him We visited a musical concert with Crete music completely free of charge. It was great. At the end of our staying the host and his wife gave us some more presents. They are very hospitable and kind. Really wonderful days! Thank you very much.

Father nikolas and Nektaria were extremely friendly and the best example of "Greek hospitality". Despite our late arrival, they welcomed us with traditional Cretan appetizers, raki, wine, self produced olive oil, fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, and invited us to help ourselves for more. We enjoyed having breakfast and Greek coffee together in the shared area, and spending some evenings together. They even gifted us with Nectaria's handmade soaps and their own olive oil ( really liquid gold!). The house is well equipped with all is needed for short/long stays and can accommodate a whole family. Excellent position to visit other main attractions such as Balos, gramvousa, Elafonissi beach, Samaria gorges. We absolutely loved our stay at Father Nikolaos's, and will definitely go back on our next trip to Crete! Thanks again, father nikolaos and nectaria, you were the best host ever!!
