By the Pagoda- cozy garden flat by Richmond & Kew Gardens

The flat is nicely decorated and well equipped.

Unfortunately it is very close to Heathrow airport. When we visited (early July) planes were landing every 2 minutes from 5AM until about 11 PM flying over the house and garden with a very heavy noise. Not exactly what we were looking for considering it was our summer week holiday. It was so unbearable that we had to find another accommodation and leave earlier than planned (no compensation though…) We wished we’d have known before booking for a 7 nights stay... We exchanged messages with the tenant who promised to inform people of the noise situation.

Great to have the kitchen and living space, outdoor table and chairs were nice too. Good value for money and close to transport links.

Bed was a bit hard.

The flat was very clean and on a quiet residential street. There were various public transport options for travelling into central London.

The owner could upgrade a few items to ensure the flat maintains it's high rating on booking.com. The pillows were very flat and not comfortable. The towels were old and a bit discoloured. There were a couple of chipped plates and the cutlery was an assortment of mismatched items. The flat is in part of a larger property and the other residents leave very early in the morning banging their doors as they go! Not for those who want to have a long lie during their stay.

Nice Location

With the hotter weather the mezzanine did get quite hot and stuffy.

Tastefully decorated flat in a great location near to Kew Gardens and Richmond. Highlight was the small courtyard for breakfast outside on warm summer mornings.
