The owner was very helpful and provided more than expected.

There was no shower but wasn’t a problem.

The janitor /caretaker was very reassuring of MY - SAFETY!!! The location was in the very CBD which I assumed was great to be with minimal interference to access....

The LOCATION was HORRIBLE as it was in the CBD in retrospect - way too much gangster activity with unsavoury characters surrounding the apartment (complex) all day... The entrance / exit was not secured in a community of 82% statistics of High jackings, rape and violence. I only moved in because the facility caretaker ensured me HE would secure my entry and exit everyday but, by day 4 I had to move out due to the noise levels and immediate corrupt violent presence surrounding me... The noise levels in the morning with trucks and workers starting at 05:00am from thereon you can not sleep or restfully retire without power (ESKOM electricity & NO back-up generators for residence?) the rest of the day - to escape to the nearest shopping mall and enjoy a coffee and breakfast is a 10minute drive to start of your day... THEN you have to return... (Call the Caretaker to escort you in the facility...) DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY WHEN YOU GET HIJACKED AND SHOT AT THE ENTRANCE! It is part of the induction procedure!!! SMILEY Face? Perfectly Normal procedure..? Just saying -collateral damage in a fatal expat foreigner situation... Honestly: The property owner and the caretaker are fantastic BUT, the location is TERRIBLE -SORRY! Keep searching..! For your own safety... I do not understand HOW? BOOKING.COM (whom I have travelled all over the world with...) endorses this for many year$?

I loved all the extras like the breakfasts, cold drinks and fruit. Having the gas heater there was great!

The area was not great, but then again most of Krugersdorp is not great. It's a small town that is going downhill.

Had the loveliest stay in the little love nest❤️. Eugene was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room has all the facilities/amenities you need for a self-catering. The room is clean and spacious. There's a variety of free dry breakfast (fruits, rusks and cereals) and a variety of coffees. The cherry on top was when he decided to buy us champagne as it was my partner's birthday 😉(do inform him on time if you have a birthday thingy going on). The place is very warm as there are extra blankets, gas heater and an electric blanket. You don't have to worry about anything. There's a secure parking. True value for money.

Nothing. Just the area don't match the house. But you will definitely love the house.

Street Traffic

There was everything to like about the property. Home away from home. The host was welcoming and friendly. The room was very cozy and clean. Everything one needs and more is provided - from all different kinds of cereal, milk, fresh fruit, all different kinds of tea, coffee and even a coffee machine!cooldrink, shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, bubble bath and those little necessities should nature take its cause. The area is not under the control of the host but it was still very safe and the property is secured. I loved every single thing about Eugene’s and I’d definitely do it again. Thank you for your amazing hospitality and giving us 5-star service!
