The Sail Loft

Absolutely beautiful place, very clean. Janice and Andrew are brilliant hosts. There was a lovely welcome pack on our arrival and we loved everything about this property including our own garden space with beautiful outdoor seating. We were walking the coast path and the Sail Loft is only a short drive away from Kingsbridge which has a great bus network for getting around.

Great property, great location, made welcome from the moment we booked, plenty of info from the owners. A little welcome pack when we arrived. Parking available. So much to see nearby.

It was a great stay in an unusual but very comfortable apartment. We would definitely stay again. The location was very central for coast and country. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

Matresses uncomfy Bathroom sink too small. Taps tricky to use.

Good welcome pack and when we found cleaning items missing they were replaced immediately.

Our stay at The Sail Loft was superb and exceeded our expectations. The accommodation itself is much bigger than expected and the living area was perfect to relax in. Beautifully decorated and Janice has thought of all of the little things that make a difference to your stay. Great location, easy to park nearby. We cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend.

Charming little cottage in a cute little village, perfect for our family get away. It had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and comfy. Very nice host!

Nothing. It was spacious, well equipped, clean & comfortable.

We loved the welcome from Janice and Storm the cockapoo, lovely bakewell cakes ,comfortable bed and lovely big room.quiet quaint village and close to lots of other towns, beaches etc.really good base to explore from.One day we drove and parked for free at Ivybridge train station, hopped on train to Plymouth (12 mins)and had a wonderful day with our son-.£8.70 for 3 adult returns and no city driving stress 😀. Spar and pub just a few minutes walk away. Lots of great design touches around the appartement.

Liked everything really but ....Would have liked a better table in the kitchen as the 3 of us had to sit facing a wall to eat..Best way round that is go out to eat!!we understand space is an issue but a small fold down table would be so much better .

The loft was warm and comfortable- plenty of hot water and clean towels/ bed linen. Modern amenities with own entrance above owners property and a boot room/ coat stand in the hall to come in. We were able to use off street parking and basics such as tea bags, toilet rolls and coffee pods etc madeit easy to settle in on arrival. The property is well positioned to tour round the Kingsbridge area and Janice was very welcoming and accommodating.

As the name suggests the accommodation is in a loft so there are steep stairs up to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom on one floor and then a second set of steep steps up to the living room (tv and sofa) on the top floor. As the table in the kitchen was fixed facing a wall and the seating 1 bench between 2 we tended to eat upstairs - which meant carrying plates of food and drink up a steep flight of stairs. it’s ok but not ideal. I think we’d have preferred the bedroom to be on the second floor, especially as there are not really any views to speak of from the living room (mainly roof tops of the main house).
