​Great location with a beautiful lake view! It’s about a 22-minute walk to the main area of Lake Tekapo, which makes for a very pleasant stroll. ​A standout feature is the full Google Home setup, allowing you to easily control the lights, music, and more. The kitchen is very handy, equipped with a microwave-oven and all the essential utensils. You can really tell the hosts put thought into picking the furniture, giving the whole place a sleek, modern look. A wonderful surprise was finding two portable luggage racks in the room—a small but incredibly practical detail! ​Though the weather didn’t cooperate for stargazing from the bed, having a skylight window right above it is still a fantastic touch.

​The only minor drawback was the bathroom layout. Although aesthetically pleasing, it lacked a bit of practicality. ​While the all-glass shower cabin looks great, water tended to leak from the base and door gaps during use. This soaked the bath mat immediately, leaving us without a dry surface to step out onto. Additionally, the built-in shower shelf, though stylish, is too compact to accommodate all standard toiletries for two tenants. ​These were not major issues, but improving these functional details would make the stay perfect.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location, easily parking, nice house and facilities, has the separate for living room and bedroom with own TV for each room. All the things look just like pictures on booking. Complete kitchenware for the cook. Very technology friendly, has all the light and tv connect with google pad. In the morning, the view is amazing and has the balcony to get tanned. In night, it is easy to see the star. You also has a window right at the top of your bed so you can do some stargazing. The information is completely and you can find everything through the link that the host provided. It must be a very expensive one to be so wholesome.

If I really need to think of something, I can hear sound when the next door hit the wall😂 but this only happens when your neighbor is very loud.

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Tekapo. The most outstanding highlight was the breathtaking lake view — waking up to such beautiful and peaceful scenery was truly unforgettable. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The environment was quiet and perfect for unwinding. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. I really wish we could have stayed longer, and I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a washing machine and dryer, which would be helpful for longer stays

This was an absolute joy to stay in. It was like walking into a 5 star resort. This was presented so beautifully, with breath taking views. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This was one of the highlights of our trip
