Lakeview Tekapo

It is a modern property, clean and well maintained, and with a good view of Lake Tekapo.

The walls are poorly insulated between the apartments so that one can hear neighbouring conversations. We struggled a bit to find the heating controls.

Great property, nice and clean! Gorgeous view! Having a washing machine was a plus for a travelers!

First class accommodation, extremely well designed and thought through in every aspect. Beautiful views. Well appointed - they even provided egg cups and a teapot (a first for NZ)! Comfortable bed (I slept very well). Brilliant shower. The hosts, upon learning i was having difficulties cooking, turned up first thing the next morning with a portable induction hob and and pan! That’s what i call service! Super location, I did lots of very enjoyable walks. Oh, and i had a last minute change of plan to cancel a night, but the hosts were charming.

Little. The shower went cold intermittantly and I couldn’t work the telly but that was probably my lack of training.
