Two Thumbs Unit 2

The location was fantastic, easy to walk to the village. Lovely and warm in the middle of winter a solid 20 degrees inside even during a snow fall! Lots of good facilities like dishwasher, washing machine and cooktop. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

Everything was great!

Very well equipped apartment. The kitchenware was good as was the dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom was also very nice.

The bed wasn't to my liking but I'm sure it's fine for most people.

Very clean and had all the facilities that we needed for one nights stay. I would certainly come back to Two Thumbs Unit 2 - if we pass through Tekapo again!

On arrival the sofa bed was broken, the foot end of the bed was almost on the ground! Had an adult been sleeping on this it would not have been a comfortable sleep at all! My kids were using this bed and as they are small did not lie on the bottom part of the bed!

Property very accessible for everything.

Not enough cutlery we had 1 fork and no spoons ended up using the teaspoons, also sofa bed wasn’t work properly need to change a decent one.

Perfect for a night away - warm, kitchen facilities and big bonus allowing pets

The price was very high The pull out bed for the kids was very uncomfortable

Fantastic amount of space, new unit, loved the fireplace. Very well equipped kitchen.

Super clean and had a washing machine which after many days on the road was much appreciated.very comfy beds.

We needed to use the sofa bed but as there was no heating or electric blanket in the main bedroom we couldn't close the intervening door because it was a freezing cold night. Suggest a small wall heater to keep the chill out of there. Also heatpump is a super noisy one. And one of us was snoring but couldn't close the door. Bad nights sleep all round despite the comfy beds. But easily and cheaply rectified for the future.

The room was very clean and tidy; and only took less than 5 minutes walking down to the Tekapo Village.

The room didn't appear to have good sound proofing since Unit 1&2 are sharing the same land and built next to each other - I was waken up in the morning by the noise made from the next unit. The bathroom sink is small and also sits in a lower position that I had to bend myself much when washing hands though I am a tiny person.
