Wood Yard Cottages

A nice spacious flat. Clean & comfortable. Very close to where my brother lives, so really handy.

The only slight thing was that the bathroom towel rail was on full blast when we got there and it made the whole bathroom really hot and uncomfortable to be in for a few hours because it was a hot day. But this is a very minor issue.

The location was great, nice and quiet in a serene way, me and my partner enjoyed the quiet 1st thing in the morning when we sat outside for a vape, the cottage was lovely and spacious, the sofas and beds were comfy, the kids enjoyed playing the game console provided, overall to say it felt like a home away from home.

I think the only thing would be is to turn down the heated towel rack before arrival and in cottage 1 where we stayed is to have a clearer way of controlling it, as upon arrival opening the bathroom door was like opening an oven door but once figured out the dial it wasn’t too bad.

The location was perfect for my stay, as Long Sutton is equidistant between two lots of relatives. The apartment was quiet, well equipped and cosy; perfect for a short break. My daughter particularly enjoyed the retro gaming console.

The bed in the twin room was a little small for my teenager; otherwise, everything was great.
