Lovely apartment in the heart of South Beach

A fantastic apartment in the heart of South beach and so close to the beach!!! We had a very comfortable stay here. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and walking distance to the gorgeous beach!

Property definitely needs upgrading. building was very disappointing. Shabby looking. Definitely not for a family with children.

The location and the communication with the host.

The AC was very noisy sometimes and the beds weren't very comfortable for my back.

Amazing spot two steps away from Ocean Drive and South Beach, the flat is well equiped with everything we need inside. The hosts were Lovely and answered fast any question. 100% recommend !

The location was amazing. The facility was clean and comfortable.

The building itself is old. The elevator sometimes didn't work and the fire alarm is very sensitive.

There was a puddle on the floor when we got in and we realized the ceiling was leaking. I tried calling the owner a few times but he never answered so we had to take care of it ourselves. We had a hard time sleeping that night because we didn't know what was going to happen and we had to hear water dripping all night. They finally got back to us the next day to tell us they knew this might happen, as it happened last week. They said that someone would come by that day to fix it but they wouldn't need access to the apartment. At least 3 different people, three different times came knocking on our door to come inside to see the leak. We were never told this by the owner. So we had to deal with strangers coming in and out of the apartment without being told while we were just trying to get ready. And no one actually did anything, they were just taking pictures. So no one came to clean up and we had to use towels to clean up the water and the owner never brought us new towels so we had to deal with that we had left. Then a couple days later, another stranger knocked on our door and wanted to come in to see the leak. Once again we weren't told about this. He started working on the ceiling and then he left and said he would be back. I told the owner that again, we weren't told about this as he had said he would wait for us to leave to fix it and he told me that it was my fault as I wanted it to be fixed, when I had never asked any of this, I just wanted someone to clean up and give us new towels. And plus, I was tired of not being warned that people would need to have access to the apartment and having to deal with strangers coming in while we were getting ready or eating. So the guy put plaster all over the floor and made a mess, and never came back. So we had to live with that mess until we left.

Really nice and comfortable apartment for a reasonable price. Paolo was very friendly and ready to help. Everything was clean and the apartment was well equipped. We really enjoyed our time there.

The only negative thing was the bad smell in the hallways of the building, although it was only there and the apartment itself smelled good. AC was a little loud, but if you turn it off over night the place is really silent.
