Location

Place was very neglected and badley maintained. Staircase has no railings, stairs very narrow and extremely dangerous. Only 1outside door could open, to get to the stoep you had to make a very tricky manuver over the dangerous staircase. Had a few close calls and falls.Cutlery was not adequate, no braaitongs etc. Swimming pool was almost inaccessible from our unit and not like fotos.Was extremely disappointed and will definitely not recommend for that price. Not good value for money at all.

Maintenance of the place is not up to standard . We visted kommentjie about 9 years ago and you could immediately see that the place was neglected. *Toilet is eaking and cause bad smell * The braai is not wind-resistant and produces an excessive amount of smoke. The wind blows the coals out, which creates a major fire hazard. Our clothes constantly smell like smoke, and some have even been burned by the hot coals being blown out. We feel it is unsafe to use the braai in its current condition and kindly request that it be inspected or repaired urgently to ensure safety. * Also the patio area need attention * Place need paint * The security gates is rusted and we struggled to open and closed. * No alarm feel unsafe *The bedding and towels , blankets needs to be replaced . *Kitchen utensils need an upgrade * only one black bag for bin and x1 toilet paper role for x2 days

The view

The safety, our car was vandilized the second night due to there being no fence to keep trespassers out. There were constantly people trying to sell shellfish on our stoep. Car was standing in the sun the entire week. The cereal bowls are very small. Not enough clean towels. No toilet spray. No two point plugs. The windows are not covered letting a lot of light in at night. No sheet on the bed.

Beautifully located just a block away from the beach, with a terrace and generally good facilities and helpful staff. Lovely little garden with bird feeder, with sun birds visiting.

The property is a little bit tired and in need of a refresh, in terms of the fittings, but we didn't mind that.

The location is a winner, and the view is stunning. Walking distance from the beach and main street. It was so convenient. I was in No 3 upstairs, and it overlooks the Entire Paternoster Beach and Ocean. Whilst it is basic, it was clean and comfortable. Perfect to just sleep there and spend the rest of time outdoors.

First evening it was a bit noisy as it was so close to the Paternoster Hotel and there was a party. So expect thay it could be noisy if there are parties happening.

their was certain thing in the flat that didn't meet my requirements like my daughter and grand daughter was with me and there was no sleeping place or a sleeper couch they could sleep on .
