Casale Marangi

Siamo stati davvero incantati dalla bellezza di questo posto! Immersi nel verde, abbiamo trovato la pace e la tranquillità che cercavamo. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, con un'atmosfera accogliente e familiare, in primis Pietro e il suo papà, persone cordialissime. Un'esperienza rigenerante che consigliamo vivamente a tutti in cerca di relax e natura. Ci torneremo sicuramente per trascorrere qualche giorno in più

C'était un séjour parfait. L'endroit est très beau et très calme, la Casale Marengi est idéalement bien placée et les propriétaires très gentils.

Warm welcoming hosts, great communication, beautiful accommodation and pool area and a wonderful location just 5 minutes drive from Locorotondo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Casale Marangi to others.

Excellent stay, perfect location to discover the Puglia area.

We like the central location for the Puglia region. Car needed, but a nice drive through the area to come home to each day. Quaint little unit we stayed in.

I wasn’t sure whether to write this or not, as I don’t like to feed into negativity but I thought other travellers should know what they’re potentially in for. I’m prepared for quite the response from the owners as I can see their extremely unprofessional and rude response to a previous unsatisfied guest. Our stay started off uncomfortable when we were treated like criminals for only booking for 2 adults and not our 2 extra children(both being under 2 and we had our own beds anyway). We booked in a hurry in the car only a few hours prior, we have stayed all over the world with never doing this, it was a mistake on our part and paid the difference in person no problem as it was absolutely fair enough to pay what we owed.. it didn’t stop the comments from the owners the entire time. But for us the real issues started when we mentioned after a few nights of freezing cold, sleeping in full clothing and puffer jackets, our baby and toddler getting very sick, that the heating wasn’t working. We were warmer sleeping in a tent in the pouring rain in 4 degrees the night before. I’m not sure why but this really bothered the owners, the husband was helpful and seemed to be trying but the wife was very agitated and one night was raising her voice so loud one night it woke my children up. We only went back to them 1 or 2 more times, as it kept failing.. but for some reason we were treated as extremely painful guests. What were we supposed to do? We already tried sleeping in full clothing and jackets. There was a language barrier so a lot was translated on our phones so that may have added frustration for them but if you’re running an accommodation business, first thing is customer service. Another thing to note is we found a scorpion next to our baby playing on the floor inside, and then another one again in my toddlers bed! Apparently they’re not poisonous but shouldn’t be inside our accommodation.

family environment, very helpful owners, everything was perfect

We've been travelling for 2 months around Puglia and have prolongued our stay only in two places; Casale Maragni was one of them. Everything is just right: location, comfort, pool, tranquility; its clean and cozy. During our stay we suffered a terrible car crash, but Angela and Giuseppe, who are exceptionally good people, took care of us in ways that only family can... they will be forever in our heart.

The pool is outstanding, the family Marangi is so nice. The place is great in the middle of olive trees. You would just sit there and relax 😉
