Direct Access to the Beach

This is a two bedroom one bathroom open living areas apartment in a large security complex. The complex is right next to the beach at Palm Beach near Munster. The beach is very clean and virtually empty. It is next to a nature reserve. Look out for Oribi (tiny antelope) grazing at dawn and dusk. The kitchen is fully equipped. It even has a blender. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

The permanent resident at unit 16 puts out cat food. It attracts monkeys. The monkeys become a nuisance. You can't even leave a window open while inside the unit because the monkeys come in. The permanent resident at unit 16 is also a chain smoker. The smoke enters unit 17 (this unit), and it is smelly. Towels and linen, although clean, were not fully dry before they were put on the beds. This resulted in very smelly linen and towels. The kettle is very tricky to operate.

I liked the beach because it was very clean.

When we got there at 3.45pm the only thing they gave me is the keys not explaining anything about where everything is. The guy who gave me the keys said just go straight ahead and you will find the your accommodation and he said that the green tag is to go in and out of the gate. How to get to the beach was not explained and the load shedding schedule and what we can use during load shedding. When we opened the tap for water dirty water came through. They did not tell me that there will be no one to come and clean. So I was not very happy the way we where treated.

Lack of wi-fi was difficult in relation to work

Access to the beach was quite near, and traveling distance to wild coast

The loadshedding was bad, the times clashed with the time we were at the apartment in the morning and evening, it was self catering but cooking couldn't be done, 4 hours is not what we are used to coming from Durban

Place is quite and very cosy. We arrived after 4 so we got the keys with the security guard

It is quite difficult to find the unit as it is upstairs.

The most amazing location, private beach, soft sand, and the unit is so close to the beach. Our stay was wonderful, thank you to all.

Covered parking would be nice. Some of the kitchen utensils need to be replaced. (Baking Tray for example)
