The apartment is in a great location in the heart of Vila Baleira with a supermarket and a great patisserie/cafe within a minutes walk. It is light and spacious and the massive terrace with great sea and countryside views is a huge bonus. The apartment is decorated with a nice nautical theme and is extremely well equipped - washing machine, dishwasher, large TV, high speed internet. Both bathrooms were excellent. Communication with Martim was easy throughout and he was extremely responsive. He very kindly allowed us to check in very early and check out very late. We would definitely love to stay here again.

The sun loungers are in urgent need of repair - two completely broken and the other two starting to break. A number of lightbulbs need replacing. The double bed has a memory foam mattress which we didn’t find that comfortable. But these are all minor issues and didn’t detract from our enjoyment

We spent one week in the Penthouse apartment and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We felt like at home. We like to cook, so we could do grocery in the nearby supermarket and cook our dinner, as the kitchen has all the facilities you need. The highlight of the apartment is without any doubt the terrace. It has beautiful views and is very big. You can sunbathe there and enjoy the sound of the waves. Martim, the host was very helpful and answered any questions and requests we had. He let us stay longer on the checkout day, so we could enjoy this wonderful place longer. We loved the island very much and will definitely come back here again.
