Loacation is very near the beach and the house has everything you need for a weekend stay.

Paternoster is a charming West Coast village worthy of a return visit over and over again.

This unit has very little privacy as the owners seem to try to double up on the income - two units basically sharing one garden (small picket fence separating the two, even our main bedroom window faces right into the social space of the neighbors!). Most linen is badly stained. In the tiny kitchen, you are not provided a drip tray to wash your dishes, so it's a wet mess all over the place. When I asked for one, I was told the shelves above the basin should be used as a drying area...(?). If you stay for more than a couple of nights, you also will have to endure the cleaning staff washing linen (of the neighbours) right in your space (they have no other option), even drying it in front of your door. The alarm system beeps loudly inside your neighbour's main living space whenever you arm or disarm the unit's alarm - leading to very awkward discussions between you and your neighbours... Being a coastal holiday home, returning from the beach with no outside tap to rinse your sandy feet, is rather disappointing. The cleaning staff is very helpful and friendly though and they do their best, in their way to make your stay more comfortable. The rental company managing the rental on behalf of the owners, however, seems to be quite disinterested in the quality of the offering and slow in responding to questions. A lot needs to change at Harmonie for me to ever return. Yet Paternoster will see me again that's for sure!

Great location close to the beach and a very nice, well-equipped & pet-friendly holiday home. All went well with the check-in at reception and we enjoyed our stay!

Liked the walking distance to the beach and restaurant was convenient. The outdoor table and chairs and braai. The portable light left for loadshedding was awesome.

We had no clean towels or linen in the 7 days we occupied the cottage. No cleaning services (perhaps every 3/4 days?) The parking arrangement. According to the notice in the garage the tenants at #1 could park outside our cottage in the back yard which would then limit our access to the washline and also it is right outside our back door and lounge area causing a privacy issue. Every time the tenant wanted to go out we would be obliged to move our car. The back door lock was missing the slide bolt and a key. Not all the kitchen lights worked. The extension plug in the bedroom was faulty.
