Alte Lateinschule

Nice apartment in an 18th-century building. Right in the heart of the old town. The room has a comfortable bed. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the ad did not mention whether towels and a hairdryer were provided. It turned out that they were, but we brought our own. There was no soap in the bathroom, so we bought some at the supermarket. The owner was very friendly. He accommodated us when we asked to leave our suitcases in the lobby until our departure. This gave us the opportunity to spend another 3.5 hours walking around the fabulous city. We recommend it!

Great location, cozy, carefully renovated ancient building, very authentic.

It is tricky to access by car, given central location in a pedestrian zone…but this was not a major problem for us. Older people might find the narrow steep stairs challenging.

It was centrally located and everything you could possibly need is just walking distance away. It was never loud so we did not have to compromise on good sleep. A coffee machine that was well equipped gave us good mornings to start off with :)
