Port Living Apartments

The apartment is very spacious and equipped with everything, they had even left a bottle of wine for us which was very nice. It was also very easy to find parking nearby which was important for us.

The biggest con was a very strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drain. One of the days, we had left the bathroom door slightly opened and when we got back in the evening the smell could be felt from the entrance of the apartment. The other issue I had was that we had to press some button on the electric panel and wait for 20-30min before every time we needed hot water. The problem is that they didn't warn us about this, the guy who welcomed us even emphasized on the fact we will have hot water all the time and we don't have to do anything. When we found out there was no hot water, they explained what to do and that this should fix the problem altogether, which was not the case. Both issues are not too difficult to fix (I assume), so I hope they do it, as it will raise the value for money of the property, which at this point I found questionable.

Όταν διανυκτερεύει κανείς για μια βδομάδα, θε περίμενε και έστω μια αλλαγή πετσετων, έστω μια καθαριότητα, συμπεριλαμβανομένου όμως της διόλου χαμηλής τιμής. Όχι αφού περάσουν 2-3 μέρες να μας λέει ότι θα το κανονίσει και την επόμενη μέρα να λαμβάνουμε ένα μήνυμα ότι χρεώνεται extra. Δεν είναι επαγγελματικό. Συν του ότι ζητούσε και εγγύηση την οποία ωστόσο προς τιμήν του δεν μας πήρε τελικά.

Fully equipped apartment with all necessary catlery and kitchen utensils.

The host clearly needs to indicate where to switch on the hot water geyser.

Perfect air-conditioning in both rooms, stable wi-fi connection, clean and fresh apartment. Quite well equipped kitchen; apartment contains all that is needed for a stay. Very close to the Old town entrance (5 min walk), very close to the big supermarket, bakery and car rental office, which was very convenient. The Host was extremely helpful and friendly. He allowed us to check in earlier that the defined check-in time which was very great as we arrived with the early flight. He also assisted us with booking the taxi back to the airport.

Both “Port Living Apartments” are located on the second floor of the building where the first floor is destroyed and completely abandoned (broken windows and doors, complete mess). The nearest surrounding streets only have technical shops and car workshops. So it is quite unpleasant in the late evening when returning to the apartment as the area is dark with no people passing by. The view from the balcony and all windows is the nearby windows of the nearby building (3 meters distance). The second apartment was rented to a company of young guys which had a big party there with loud music and screaming/loud talking until after midnight. quite an unpleasant experience. We also experienced an incident at the last night of our stay when a group of drunk guys who were probably renting the other of these 2 apartments actually opened our door with their keys and rushed into the room, screaming and laughing, at 5 a.m, into the room where children were sleeping and scared them. This means that both apartments have the same set of keys which is very unsafe.

Very nice appartment. Everything was new and clean, it even smelled new. Perfectly working airconditionig and even a new waching machine :) We were very suprised with how clean and fresh the apperment looked!!
