Rosa Dei Venti

A lovely apartment, right in the middle of Riomaggiore, and very handy to the railway station and all the restaurants. Made exploring the Cinque Terre easy!

Oh my goodness, the stairs! Not the host's fault -- I'm sure all buildings in Riomaggiore have stairs just like them -- but they are SO steep! Make sure you don't have any heavy luggage! Also you can hear noise from neighbouring apartments.

The location is premier, near the train station and in in central Riomaggiore. The host was very helpful guiding to the property (don't follow the link from Booking.com then Google maps).

The mattress needs to be replaced. It was very lumpy from previous tenants. The lumps and valleys resulted in a difficult night sleep. The 40 steep steps leading to the apartment are a challenge. We had small, 10kg bags and managed. Someone with big, 23kg bags would struggle.

The owner sent directions from the train station. Room was very clean and bigger than expected. The kitchen was a good size but we didn't use it. Bars restaurants, and shops right outside the door.
