La Terrasse des manguiers

We spent three nights here at the beginning of our two week holiday in La Réunion and found it an excellent base from which to explore the city. It’s situated in a quiet residential street close to the Jardin de l’Etat and within walking distance of the city centre. There’s also a bus stop right on the doorstep with services directly into Le Barachois. The apartment had everything we needed for a family trip, including a lovely terrace with a roll-out canopy to provide shade. We enjoyed our stay here.

A very minor point, but the only thing missing was a bedside lamp. If we wanted to read at night we had to leave the bright room light on.
