Casa Giorgetti

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very cleverly designed. Beautiful view of the harbour and central to everything on Portovenere including ferry access to the Cinqueterre.

Climbing up and down to the bed was quite challenging and a bit dangerous as the floor/ steps were steep and slippery. I wish that I had known about the sofa bed. Maybe instructions on how to access bus tickets into La Spezia and a box of tissues would have been handy.

Very clean with clever use of space

The access to the bed is not easy for elderly and can be dangerous.

Location was great. The view looking out of the window was beautiful!! The apartment was newly renovated and felt very clean! It was really nice to have my own kitchen.

Location was interesting as it is in the midst of a working and tourist community. Lots of bakeries nearby and restaurants as it’s generally excellent. Plunging into the sea in several locations is easy ( with good foot ware) and the sea is warm and healthy with fish. Bring your swim goggles !

No balcony - only a few of these exist. A few side tables would be nice - coffee and book spot.

I have never stayed anywhere so well thought out, every tiny detail was considered, thanks so much to the family for being so thoughtful

The apartment is right on the main street and overlooking the sea; in the morning the reflections of the sunlight on the water paint a beautiful pattern on the ceiling. It has been beautifully renovated, with a lot of attention to detail and optimizing space, thought through the last little detail. It holds everything one needs, is comfortable, clean and calm. The host has been very welcoming and reactive. We have not tested any other place in Portovenere but it felt very much like the best place to be. It looks exactly like on the photos provided and has a lot of charm.

We loved everything about the place.

Loved the use of space in the apartment and the amazing location and the view.

Parking at the grand hotel portovenere was quite pricey so maybe get there early in the day to take advantage of free public parking.
