Goederus Guest Farm

It's an amazing place and the host are just wonderful and lovely, children can run and play. Can not wait to go back.

The location. The mountains, being in nature, the trees, orange orchard and the Crocodile river flowing within the property just few metres walk down from our cottage. We received a warm welcome from the host & they were aware we were coming. They sent a Whatsup message a day before we arrived enquiring from where we'll be travelling & sent us directions to the property from the Machado Tollplaza & it was SPOT ON! The welcoming was so warm and it felt like we've been there before. They showed us around the cottage & although we forgot how to use the gas stove, they came over at night & showed us. Loved the calm environment amongst the trees. The sound of birds & the sound of water from the Crocodile river. We could even hear the sound of water at night. The cottage really felt like home. I would definitely consider returning Being in amongst the trees, near the river really awakened my soul, my spirit

The gravel road was too long although it added to the rustic atmosphere & feel of the area. Although we were traveling in a high ground clearance suv, we couldnt wait to reach our cottage & rest

The road and the steps! The last 6 km of the dirt road to the stay is horrific! It took me approx.15 min to negotiate the road to avoid breaking my vehicle and my body. The 3 higher than normal steps up from the bedroom to the living room, and then from the living room up to the bathroom or kitchen are a hazard for any aged person such as we are.

The road to the farm is a bit hard to follow it but if they send you directions it's much easier
