Snobs and Rebels Apartments

It was very quirky and close to the Lido as we were taking part in a swim competition the next day.. It was just right for what we needed

I know the shower was made up of old slate but it looked very worn and I noticed a leak coming from somewhere in the shower area, the mirror wall in the bathroom was a bit off putting at times but not a criticism just my thoughts

Location to the centre of the town

Bedding in need of renewal. Lumpy pillows & badly felted bed sheet. Sofas uncomfortable to sit on to watch tv.

The property is very old, maybe they kept it like this for a vintage look and feel, but somehow we didn't like the property. Shower walls are not good and we didn't like bed linens may be due to its color. I can't say it is not clean, but not pleasant.

Central location. Had all we needed for a couple of nights.

We arrived in the dark and it was difficult to find where to park the car. An outside light above the door would be very useful. The bathroom, a wall of mirror.....who thought that was a good idea?

Location was very good and the size of the accommodation. The kitchen was well fitted out. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.

The parking was very tight, especially in the Rebel apartment. The bedrooms were very hot, but the kitchen/seating area was cool due to no radiator. The bathroom was huge with a lovely shower, but again, the towel rail remained cold. The towels were very hard and scratchy.

The lighting downstairs in Crown Cottage needs upgrading.
