The two actual bedrooms had nice beds and pillows. Also the patio was nice. The property was modern and well taken care of. The location was good with the vicinity to the beach. The beach was peaceful and secure. The restaurant at the property served good food with pleasant service. There was also a small shop by the entrance for snacks and small groceries. For preparing meals, the shopping must be made at the village, which was also very compact and had nice restaurants. San Bartolo felt a nice place close but away from Lima’s pollution and traffic, where I could imagine going again.

The price-quality ratio of the apartment was not what we expected. The apartment states to have three bedrooms but the third one with the bunk bed is hardly a room but a storage converted into a place to sleep with no place to even put your luggage. The cleaning utensils are right next to it, like is also a very modest toilet with (then broken) shower. The second proper bedroom had no window curtains which felt a bit strange as it was the ground floor and the neighbour’s entrance was close. The kitchen utensils were rather old and not in a good shape for cooking. We only had one rusty key which made a six persons’ stay a little bit difficult from time to time, in addition to it, the door was extremely difficult to open because of the rust both in the key and the lock. The lifts at the property did not work reliably and there were massive reparations of the family pool and maybe a spa department below it.
