House 52

Spacious accommodation and great view.

Patio furniture needs a paint. The accessibly from the car, could be an issue for some people.

Our family has stayed at Sodwana Bay Lodge for over 20 years, but first time in House 52. The house is comfortable, have all the facilities you may need, was cleaned daily, laundry was done as an additional fee. The Lodge have generators, therefore the impact of power failures in the area was not impacting at all. The ice machine is very convenient!

A laundry line on the sunny deck will be great to ensure laundry/towels dry faster. Only one parking space near the house, if you have a big trailer and vehicle, it may not both fit at the parking under the house.

Beautiful feeling and views on the patio.

Gas barbeque wasn't working properly, no ignition, almost exploded when lighted with lighter. This is dangerous and should be seen to. A washing machine and dryer would be nice for long stay people.

Very big house with great kitchen! It was amazingly well equipped and even had a seperate fridge for drinks and a cooler for what we assumed would be fish. There is a huge balcony with an amazing view. The two rooms upstairs seemed a little warm, but the rooms downstairs were very comfortable due to the A/C. There were two different bathrooms, which made it ideal for traveling with family and friends. There is a laundry service at reception and a restaurant in the Resort.

There were some minor things that could be brought up to speed in regard to maintenance. It is a bit of a walk from the house to the restaurant/reception, but there are Nyalas and monkeys to see along the way.
