Villa Gomez at French colony

It was a great experience. Host Joseph and Selvi were very proactive in all arrangements. They also arranged a rental car. Check in time was 12 , but they arranged a separate room for us till the room was ready. Also the location was great, it is just 100 m from aurobindo ashram and promanade Beach is just 5 min walk.

Liked the Bed, Linnen, ample sitting area for two families in the living room, kitchen was good, very spacious. Facade of Villa is good too. Location is very good. Lots of intetesting places around a 1km radius. Autoricks are available around the corner.

TOILETS NEED A MAKEOVER, limescale build up on faucets and shower, broken backwash hook, ants crawling in the bathroom floor, grouting needs to be done, badly stained commode & washbasin ( pls replace asap) , poor lighting in the bathroom. Bedroom needs to be thoroughly cleant before guest arrive. As cobwebs were flying around , especially from under the bed. THIS IS WHAT WE DID'NT LIKE, If you fix all this . You can be a Star in Pondi.

It was a wonderful experience at Villa Gomez. The host Mr F Gomez has been the best ever. Very supportive and responsive to all queries. Neat and clean accommodation with all amenities. Very close to the beach, shops and markets.

2nd Bedroom- very uncomfortable and didn't had good sleep due to mosquitos.

Host provided us with all the necessary information and was always in touch. Property is spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff cleans the rooms and used kitchen utensils on daily basis. The location of the house is the prime location of Pondicherry. Arbindo ashram, ganpati temple, Promonade and bakers street is walkable distance.

The location. The host and the service staff were very helpful.

The cleanliness of the place. Toilets had a smell. Bidet, sink and shower were rusty. Floor is grimey. Beds were stained. A/C was not working.
