SOUTHAMPTON Central Apartments - Wise Stays

The accommodation has a very cosy and comfortable interior design. Very well equipped facilities and supplies, e.g. coffee maker and coffee capsules, laundry pods, etc. Host was very helpful and checking in was very easy. There was a designated parking spot and it was free. This accommodation was less than 10 mins walk along a paved sidewalk to Southampton Central, perfect for us who needed to walk to the train station with our luggage.

As we were here because a family member was in hospital we weren’t well prepared, so it was great that the property was stocked with coffee, washing machine/dishwasher tabs, toilet roll, soap and cleaning stuff. The property has an excellent electronic entry system - so key free which was really convenient as there 3 of us coming and going. The owner was really good at communicating. The property was set up as two super king bedrooms and they were very comfy with crisp white sheets. The showers were strong and the towels were new and fluffy.

Very minor things as it was really a very positive stay. The parking space is quite tight if you have a big car. I meant to tell the owner that the bath tap was hard to turn off so probably needs a new washer. Perhaps so many dried flowers aren’t needed - they sort of get in the way.

They got everything you need which feels like cozy home plus a nice balcony. Convenient location with a variety of food choice and supermarket (even an Asian one) but not noisy. Walking distance to Titanic museum and bus stop nearby for paying a visit to the old town area and port.

Not really but adding a stir-fry pan and some hooks in the toilet would be highly recommend to ease a family stay.

I needed somewhere to stay with my 89 year old Mum, who'd just had an operation on her eye and needed to lay flat. I was looking for somewhere spotless, with a shower and a lift, as Mum is in a wheelchair. This was a perfect flat, really comfortable, beautifully maintained with high quality fixtures and fittings. If I ever need to be in Southampton again, I'll certainly be looking to return.
