Villa Parkhaus

It's a beautiful Villa. I loved my stay. It's the perfect place to wind down and enjoy nature at it's finest. I love Wernigerode and the villa made it perfect. The steam engine passing by just takes you back it time.

Absolutely beautiful house with a stunning garden! Check-in was easy, the appartment was nice and light, with windows all around. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We were welcome with our dog. Many things to do in the surroundings and close to the center of Wernigerode.

Communication was only possible in German (no problem for us, but might be for other guests). The price is a little on the high side for what you get. Very thin/light curtains so we woke up from the light early every morning and could not make it darker. No airconditioning so opening the windows to cool it down meant we had to deal with a lot of bugs, as there were no mosquito nets.

Big apartment. Very nice park. Very silent place.

It is far from the city.

The photos don't do it justice. The location is absolutely amazing! The apartments in the villa are a great size to stay for a longer period, even though we only stayed a few nights.

The building is beautiful with a nice garden to walk around. Picking up the keys later in the evening was easy via a lock box system and overall the building is kept clean. They also provide local bus tickets for you to get into town as the building is slightly out of town.

Two smaller things depending on your preferences: the building is slightly away from town (about 40 minute walk) but they do provide you with free bus tickets which is great. The bed was slightly hard but totally fine.

Travel with family, 5 of us and everybody have their own space. And 2 bathroom, so important!. This Villa is spacious, and the landscape is exactly like the photos. Good place to stay with a group of friends and family getaway. Bring your pet along, they will love it too!!!. They have outdoor tables and chairs for play cards and stuff, perfect to enjoy cocktail hour.
