Rest At Last - Highland Apartment with Private hot tub

The room was immaculate upon entry.

Massive slippery staircase. Walk to hot tub which we were told would be private yet around 10 young girls walked past a few times the second night we were there which put my girlfriend off going out to it. Couldn't sleep as doors were being banged constantly at 2-3am. Hot tub is a far distance from room. We were sent a text with "things you should bring" about 45 mins before we were due to arrive ... 4 hours from our home. Hoped for a relaxing couple of days for my girlfriend who has a chronic illness. Thankfully she enjoyed her time away, just not the noise and lack of sleep caused.

Gorgeous location, easy to find and easy to relax once you get there!

Property was very well appointed, clean, brilliant location and the hosts really went out of their way to make it a special birthday trip for my partner. One of the better places I’ve stayed in years.

Not a problem for me personally but the hosts do have 2 dogs so this may be an issue for some although they do mention in their message post booking that if you are uncomfortable with dogs they will keep them inside so this is a non issue really.

It was extremely cosy and clean. Had an excellent view that we watched for hours each day. Spoilt with supplies and things to keep you occupied even when there is no power! Very friendly dogs and hosts. Hosts ensured we were comfortable and checked on us daily, even supplied us with pizza!

Not a bad word to say, everything was in excellent condition.

Location and views were great.

If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, this is the place. Great hosts who completely looked after every detail. Our dog was very welcome and anything that we asked about was taken care of. The local pub was a great place too!

A bit of a drive from town and shops but that was what we were after. The inside stairs are a bit of an adventure.
