Chez James

From the very first moment everything was perfect. Our hostess, Marion, was welcoming, showed and explained everything. For the rest of the stay we knew she was there if we needed anything but we were on our own. We could just relax. The finest detail, local wines, books to read, info about the region etc made the unit so much more special. And then there was the view, garden in which bird species enjoy themselves. Deck chairs, barbeque facilities, solar-which means NO LOADSHEDDING 👏

Marion was the perfect host..assisting during loadshedding for special requests..a pressure cooker. Wonderful stay, and fantastic hosting. Thank you.

Marion was a lovely host. easy and quick communication. the area is very nice, safe and quite! 1 min walk to the beach and you can see the beach from your bed.

We loved the location and the apartment. We fell in love with the whole town and coming to Chez James at the end of every adventurous day was such a bonus to relax. The place was clean with beautiful views and a great wine selection in the apartment. We rented this place specifically because it had accommodations for cooking, which was necessary for my vegan diet. We had no problems eating heartily using the cooking utensils provided. We will definitely visit again.

Our room was comfortable, clean and the view was great. Marion was a great host and even provided a whole selection of local wines on an 'honesty' basis. The garden is lovely and indigenous, which attracts lots of birds.
